Ray Neil Reynolds, age 76, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 after a short illness. Ray is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Nord-Reynolds, two brothers, Rex A. and Rodney W. Reynolds, and two sisters, Theo Dora Reynolds-Johnson, and Judy Kay Reynolds-Higgins, multiple nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Ray was a devoted Christian who lived his life by the tenets of his faith and worked to make the world a better place.
Ray was born in Oklahoma City on January 19, 1940 to Delos G., “Duke”, and Enid A. Reynolds. He spent his early years in northwest Oklahoma living close to extended family. The family then moved to Del City, where he attended Junior High and High School. He attended OU before apprenticing with the local electrical workers union and becoming a master electrician, and later, an instructor at the U.S. Postal Service Training Center at OU, where he retired.
