Robert Jones

Robert “Bob” C. Jones born June 30, 1946, died on August 28, 2017. He is survived by Leslie, the love of his life and bride of 48 years, his son Tim, his daughter-in-law Jennifer, and his three grandchildren Garrett, Maggie, and Porter. He is also survived by his brother Rick Jones of Warr Acres.

Bob put his Economics degree from the University of Texas in Arlington to work as co-founder of Jones Bros. Auto Sales. He spent over 30 successful years in the car business alongside his brother, Rick. He touched many lives by lending a listening ear to all who stopped by his car lot.

From birth to death, Bob inspired us with his love, his faith, and his perseverance. Bob did life his way. Following his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Bob’s love for others spread light in the dark places of life. His gift of faith challenged and brought a restorative healing. His perseverance extended joy well beyond what medicine would predict. Jesus came and defied the rules of power and authority through grace and peace; Bob likewise defied the rules of life through great sacrifice. Bob lived and died giving to others, even in death he was thinking of future generations.
