

Robin was born to William Yardy, Jr. and Anna Mae (Monday) Yardy, on May 27, 1961, and grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Robin attended Franklin School, Chilocco Indian Boarding School, and graduated from Shawnee High School in May 1979.
After graduating, Robin was a certified welder for Dagwell Dixie for 18 years. He then found his work-home at MIDCON Data Services in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2005, where he worked for 16 years, which he loved until his death.
Robin loved sports. He played on the Bud Light Ultimate Frisbee Team, where his team name was Elvis in Hell. He traveled all over the United States and Canada with his team. Robin was a huge OSU Cowboy fan. He loved cheering for them and wore those colors proudly. Robin had a favorite team for every sport. Hockey – Pittsburgh Penguins. Basketball – Boston Celtics. Baseball – New York Yankees. Pro Football – Raiders. He could tell you anything about sports and the players.
Robin loved his friends as if they were his family and talked fondly of them. Robin liked to laugh, and he had a great sense of humor. He had an unforgettable laugh. Robin loved with all of his heart. He loved his nieces and nephews and would always be the life of the party. Robin was a straightforward man. He never faltered in his beliefs and would not argue with anyone.
Robin is preceded in death by his father William Yardy, Jr.; mother Anna Mae (Monday) Yardy; sister Marion April Yardy; and eldest brother Stephen Bruce Yardy.
He is survived by his siblings: sister Jacqueline Mason and Jeff Cooper of Edmond, OK; sister Rebecca Rowe and husband John of Edmond, OK; brother Pete Yardy and wife Teresa of Shawnee, OK; and brother John Yardy and wife Maria of Norman, OK; girlfriend Debbie Wiedner of Edmond, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his friends and Mid-Con co-workers who were his extended family.
The family would like to thank Randy Allen, CEO of Mid-Con, for his generosity and love. Words cannot express the love and generosity you have shown to our family. The family would also like to thank Chris Blessington and all his loan companies for their outpouring of love. Thank you so much. We are forever grateful.
Robin will be missed very much. He would not want us to mourn or grieve but celebrate the life he lived and embrace it.
