Teresa Jean McDaniels

Teresa was born in Edmond, Oklahoma to H. Drew Owen, Sr. and Betty Jo Owen on February 2, 1950. She grew up in Oklahoma City and Checotah and graduated from John Marshall High School.

She loved animals – especially her Shih-tzu, Mickey Blue Eyes. She loved cooking and was a great cook. She loved singing and dancing with her husband, Don. She loved going on family vacations and traveling. In her younger adult life, she worked as a builder and real estate agent. Later in life, she enjoyed spending time with her four children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Teresa had an infectious smile and a memorable laugh and would do anything for her family. She genuinely cared for others with her generous heart and was always willing to open her home for anyone in need.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bud; husband, Don; and daughter, Melody. She is survived by one brother, Mike; sons, Andrew (Tami) and Eric; daughter, Katie (Nathan); nine grandchildren: DJ, Blake, Jeb, Sam, Zoey, Dalton, Isabella, Ian, and Lucas; and eight great-grandchildren.
