Alan was a wonderful, kind, caring friend, with an amazing sense of humour, a true gentleman.

A very proud and loving family man, who always said how lucky he was to have Roxanne!

I will miss our golf games, Alan collecting his favorite Callaway golf balls at every golf club we played at, our dinner dates, his laughter, his soothing nature.

I was talking with Mike Trelevan today & he told me of Alan's passing. When I was on his team & had my cancer surgery, he was wonderful & helped me through my work period leading up to the surgery & when I returned to work. Everyone loved Alan & he will be missed y all who knew him.my sincere condolences to Alan's family-Fred Fox

Roxanne and Nicholas: We only learned today of Allan's passing and we send out heartfelt condolences and wish you strength and courage in the days to come. Those of us who worked with Allan for so many years have very fond memories of Allan's wit, cheer and good nature. He was indeed a wonderful person and a true gentleman in every way.

Alan was a wonderful man; always with a kind word and an infectious smile. All who had the pleasure of working with Alan benefited from his wisdom and genuine character.

We are so sorry and our hearts and thoughts go out to Roxanne and Nicholas. Alan was a true gentleman and he was so very proud of his family. We hope your favourite memories of him stay with you forever.

So sorry to hear of your, and our, loss. I worked with Alan before his retirement. He was a good boss, calm, cheerful and very caring. He was looking forward to being able to play a lot more golf in retirement so I'm glad to hear he was able to do that. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Alan was a wonderful and caring man. I think he knew most of the people at CRA and always had a smile for you and asked how you were. It was always a treat to see him. I loved his accent and the unique way he pronounced my name.
Roxanne, we met briefly at Southgate a couple of years ago and I was happy to hear that Alan was enjoying his retirement. I so wish he had more time to do that.

Alan was a remarkable man and we were truly blessed to have known him for so many years. We're going to miss him so much at Men's Night, and on the golf course early on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Alan's creative and irreplaceable dance moves were one of a kind. Roxanne, thank-you for sharing your fantastic husband with us. Even though he enjoyed golf, he couldn't put his things away fast enough just so that he could finally give you a call. Everybody could see that you and his children meant the world to him. Joan and I both worked with Allan at CRA, albeit many years ago.  Allan was my Supervisor and was always pleasant and had time for a "discussion".  Our deepest sympathies for your loss.

Roxanne and Nicholas, I am sure you know that Alan was a man that we can all be very proud of. I am very thankful that I had the priveledge of meeting him and spending many hours with him "picking it up dude" on the course over the past 15 years. Whether it was on the course, having a pint on the deck or enjoying "just like outside" golf in the middle of winter, the time with Alan was always a pleasure that I will never forget. My thoughts, love, prayers and hugs are with you all at this unbelievably difficult time. Having know Alan since I was just a little girl, I can honestly say he was one of the most kind, genuine, and sweet individuals I've ever met. It was much more than his endearing accent and teddy bear demeanor that allowed him so wonderful to be around- Alan had a one of a kind way of making even a small child feel like she was the most special and interesting person in the room. I'll never forget the times our families spent together, and I'll especially never forget that smile and chuckle of "Mr. White" (as dad so affectionately referred to him any time the phone rang and it was Alan on the other end).
