Aunt Alice,

You enjoyed life and were truly grateful for each and every day.  Your kindness, love, and generosity touched so many lives;  family, friends, strangers, and all of your beloved animals.
Most of all you were devoted to your family, who were your pride and joy.  Your appreciation of even the smallest gesture was heartfelt.
We’ll miss our visits and phone calls, and all the “good vibes” you always sent us, but most of all we’ll miss you.

To my dearest dinosaur Auntie,

Wherever I have gone in the world, I have taken the sense of awe and delight in its wonders that I learned from you with me.  It is a gift from you that never stopped giving. I cannot thank you enough for having shaped my path. Thus, I do not say good-bye because you are always with me.

Instead, sleep well my sweet Auntie.  May you find yourself reunited with our family telling stories of Birch Point with love and laughter and hopefully a dinosaur bone or two.
