On December 1st, 2024 after a long battle with cancer, Anne Winters, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her Family at the young age of 65 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Raymond Harold Winters; children, Virginnia (Scott), Celia (Mike), and Julian (Shannon); grandchildren, Emily, Aidan, Kiara, Everett, Nora and Grace; great – grandchild, Jaxson; siblings, Brian (Liz), Elaine (Greg), Julie (Robert) and Karen (Terry); sisters-in-law, Angie and Pam (Darrell); her family pets, Zoey, Jade, and Grapefruit as well as numerous dear friends.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Marjorie Chamberlain; as well as her beloved family pets, Bandit, Felix and Sophie.
A Memorial Service for Anne will take place on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 – 34th Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB. Following the Service, the Family invites you to join them in a time of fellowship & refreshment in the Upstairs Reception Lounge.
In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that you consider a donation in honour of Anne to the Alberta Cross Cancer Institute or to the Alberta Stollery Children’s Hospital.
