

Armillia (Millie) was born the youngest of 7 children in 1934 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. Millie, is predeceased by parents Joe and Annie Meier, daughter Chatherine, brothers and sisters Katherine, Adrian, Elizabeth, Raymond, William, Louise.
She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, of more than 50 years, Anton (Tony).
Married in 1954 and working the farm, Tony and Millie left for Aldergrove, BC with sons Barry and David. They bought a hobby farm and added another son, Brian to the family. Seeking more steady employment, Millie and Tony moved to Woodfibre, BC where Murray was born. When the town shut down, the family moved to Brackendale BC where Tony later retired from BC Rail. In retirement, they moved to Abbotsford, BC until Tony’s passing. After some health challenges Millie agreed to move with Murray’s family to Brampton, ON before moving to Edmonton, Alberta where she passed away on May 29, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
She is fondly remembered for her 25 years with many friends at Abbotsford McDonalds bingo, cooking, love of flowers, being outside in the sun and talking on the phone for hours at a time with the many family and friends that she shared her life with.
Millie is survived by her sons and their wives: Barry (Tammy) of Prince George BC, David (Cathy) of Phoenix Arizona, Brian (Lana) of Whiterock BC and Murray (Anndreia) of Edmonton, Alberta. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great, Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A small gathering will be held in Abbotsford in July where Millie will be laid to rest.
