Atanacia "Annie" Santos Cruz

Atanacia (Annie) Santos Cruz of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. Annie was born on February 14, 1933 in Paco, Manila, Philippines. She immigrated to Canada in 1973 with her young family making Edmonton their home in Canada. Annie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Armando P. Cruz. She is survived by her loving family, to include her children: Alex (Christi), Albert, and Arlene (Herbert); her grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews; brothers Wency, Carmelito (Juliet), Efren (Ofie); sisters Sonia, Thelma (Leogardo), brothers in law, Bert and Emiliano (Christina). She is predeceased by her siblings: Jesus (Demetria), Florentino, Josefina, and Eufrocenio. She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her loving family and many dear friends around the world.

A visitation will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, 17511 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:45 - 12:30 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, 17511 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 12:30 pm with Reverend Marc Cramer, Celebrant. A graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.

Following the graveside service, relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of refreshments and fellowship at St. Charles Catholic Church, 17511 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB.
