Boodeah Sewpersaud

Boodeah was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured friend to many. Her kindness, strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for her family touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Boodeah will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jagdeo and Sookdai; her children-in-law, Kasha and Cecil; her grandchildren, Gaitree, Gavin (Tracy), Krishna, Laxmie (Andy), Vidya (Kumar), Karan (Sinteia), Craig (Norita), Denishwar (Bonnita), Priya, Keshia (Avishkar), Alecia (Anup), Vashti (Vasu), and Christopher; her 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends whose lives were enriched by her love and presence.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pokan and Dukhni; her beloved husband, Shannon; her siblings, Durga, Ramphal, Puran, Rajwantie, Mahadey, and Bipti; her children, Lakeram, Chitrayka, and Roopnauth; and her children-in-law, Satie and Sohanlall.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the many cherished memories she leaves behind and in the love she shared so generously throughout her life. Her spirit will remain with us always, guiding and inspiring future generations.

Boodeah Sewpersaud Traditional Funeral Service will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 34th Ave, Edmonton, AB, T6E6L1, CA, on June 13, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
