AB.
Bruce was born in Outlook, Saskatchewan in June 1936. He was a businessman from an early age, having his own paper route at age 12. He has always been a compassionate and caring person providing his own father with spending money from earnings from that paper route. He went to work at his best friends father’s General Motors dealership. This experience inspired him later on to apply at Loveseth Automotive. He worked there until his ambition and drive to succeed led him to buy Greenwood Auto Electric which eventually became Chief Automotive Distributors. The driving force behind all of his success has been Helena, his devoted wife of 50 years. His biggest joys were his children, his grandchildren and his business. He sold his business after 31 years in 2002. In his much deserved retirement he enjoyed his family, some traveling to see family as well as watching the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Eskimos. His family will always remember him as someone who could talk to anyone, sell anybody anything and always had a joke to tell.
“He was our strength and our centre. He took care of us all.”
We Love You.
