Bruno Giacobbo of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, August 31st, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years of age.
Bruno was born on December 6, 1936, in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, Treviso, Italy, to Domenica and Rocco Giacobbo. Bruno is survived by his wife Albina of 63 years, daughter Manuela (Gary), son Robert (Melissa), grandchildren Tristan and Luca, brothers Lawrence, Silvano, Celestino and sister Nella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Rocco and Domenica, sister Delphina and brother Angelo.
A visitation will be held at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium in Edmonton (13403 St. Albert Trail) on September 11, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held in Edmonton, on Saturday, Sept 12th, 2026 at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. (9110 – 110 Avenue NW) with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery (13819 - 82 St NW).
