He lives on in the hearts of his wife Jenn, his twin sons Aleksander and Nikolas, his father Loutfik, brothers Raff (Sheila), Koko (Julie) and sister Taline. Also, his cousins that were like siblings to him - Shahe (Teresa), John (Teresa), Maria (Aleks) and Chris. As well as his father and mother-in-law, Ron and Karen, brother in laws Ryan (Beth), Jordan (Caitlin), Zach (Natalie) and sister-in-law Amber. He will also be sorely missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.
Chahe was predeceased by his Amo (Uncle) Agop, Harscourig (Aunt) Camila, as well his mom, Nouhad.
Chahe was the proudest father, the most loyal husband and friend, and the biggest lover of life. He was incredibly proud of his Armenian heritage and family traditions which will live on through his sons Alek and Nik, his siblings and cousins, and many family members in Lebanon, Los Angeles and Toronto. He looked forward to any excuse to gather with friends and family, sharing good food and drink, playing cards, and sitting on the lanai with a fire. His long-time passion of playing volleyball forged some of his strongest and longest friendships, as did the many golf trips, poker nights and hockey pools with some of his closest friends.
Raising his family in the Comox Valley over the last decade has provided many memories to last a lifetime - exploring the islands, salmon fishing, year-round golfing, pizza nights on Quadra, and most notably, hanging out at Goose Spit, wearing his big straw hat and barbequing on his hibachi, with Beach Vibes playing in the background, watching the boys in swim and wrestle in the ocean and just sitting back and enjoying everything this life had to offer with the love of his life - Jenn.
Service will take place on Wednesday March 22nd at Memories on St. Albert Trail at 1pm. A virtual link will be provided on the website for those unable to attend in person.
After the service, please join us at Dicey Reilly’s in St. Albert as we celebrate his life the way he would have loved – surrounded by his friends and family, where we will raise our glass to honour our friend, brother, son, husband and father who was so full of joy and life, love and laughter.
In lieu of flowers – contributions to an account in trust for Aleksander and Nikolas can be made at TD Canada Trust– please contact Julie Keumbehdjian at [email protected] for further details.
Babe, love you more - always. J.
