Clara (LaRocque) Gladue

Clara was born on January 14, 1938, and lived a life marked by love for her family, quiet strength, and resilience. She will be remembered for the care she gave to those around her and for the many memories she created with family and friends throughout her life.

Clara leaves behind her beloved children: Connie Potvin, Calvin Gladue (Yvette), Margie Soutar (Rob), Beverly Gladue, Carol Claeys (Greg), Tanya Gladue (Ryan) two sisters, Bertha Desjarlais and Rita Daniels who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and the time they shared together.

She was predeceased by her Husband, George Gladue, two sons, Andrew and Perry Gladue, parents Felix and Adeline LaRocque, brothers Fred and George LaRocque, sisters Kathie Cardinal, Ada LaRocque, son in laws, Terry Potvin and Rick Mattus, Grandsons Christopher and Carmen Gladue, Granddaughter Cura Gladue whom she held close in her heart.

Clara also leaves behind many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She treasured every moment spent with them, and the love, laughter, and memories they shared will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Clara's legacy lives on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A funeral service celebrating Clara's life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T5L 4X1. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate her life.
