I was Clare's employer at Lammle's, and I can tell you honestly she was as fine a person as you will ever meet. I only just found out about her loss and I am so stunned. There is nothing I can tell you about how fond I was of Clare and was so glad I hired her! I notice how people are praised after they pass away...well this time it is definitely deserved. I am sorry for your loss. I noticed it's the third anniversary of her passing and I wanted to send my sympathies. I'm glad I had a brief shining moment to have her in my life. God Bless.

My heart goes out to Clare's family and friends, and Chris. I didn't know Clare, but I was one of many people helping with first aid until the firetrucks and ambulances arrived. I think about Clare and Chris all the time. My boyfriend and I are similar in age to Clare and Chris and we were less than a minute behind them on the highway. I can't imagine the pain those who knew them are going through. I hope that Chris is recovering from his physical injuries, though I know that it will take longer to recover from his loss. I haven't heard any updates of his medical status and I hope he makes a full recovery. Such a tragic loss that was completely preventable.

We will miss Clare's smile,kind words for all, her campassion and empathy, and her friendship.She will be in my thoughts always.

Clare's sweet heart and beautiful smile exuded compassion in every interaction.  I had the pleasure of sharing workplace visits with her, through Equinox Therapeutic, and she always touched my spirit and brightened the day.  Condolences to all who love her.

Clare was one of the most caring, warm, genuine, understanding, loving and brilliant people I have known. I have known Clare as a classmate, colleague, and dear friend for many years and will always remember her amazing spirit. We met during undergrad at U of A and worked together at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Social Work as she transitioned to her master's in counselling, and I to my PhD in the field. We would meet for lunch or coffee on my visits back to Edmonton and discuss our passions and dreams for the work we hoped to continue to do together one day. She has forever touched my heart, mind, and spirit.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to Clare's family, friends, and partner. The impact that she has had on so many lives in her short time with us will continue to live on in the family, friends, colleagues, and clients she has left behind.

I was Clare's internship supervisor during her year placement at Centennial Centre. She was indeed an intelligent, compassionate, principled human being. She certainly thought for herself and made a positive contribution through her caring. I appreciated so much her optimism for life- and it was infectious. I will miss her and always remember her in the highest regard. May you find peace in her memory.

Your daughter and mine were colleagues at SASE, and she feels Clare's loss keenly. Her loss, and yours, is my loss. Great love.

I met Clare while working with her on Marion house at the centennial centre in ponoka. She was such an amazing person who I learned so much from. Her passion in her work was obvious from the first day we worked together. I have so many memories that I will hold close to my heart forever.  We shared the same love of horses. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family, friends and partner. I will always cherish the good times we shared. Goodbye my friend and may you rest in peace on the back of a horse in heaven.

Clare will be missed. Her passion for riding was evident as you watched her take her horse to the fences.
