With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved "Grandma" Cora Olivares, who left us peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the age of 91.

Grandma Cora's life was a shining example of strength, generosity, and joy. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. A proud member and vibrant presence in the Chilean and Latin community, she could often be seen volunteering at events, sharing her wisdom with young students, singing, dancing, and lighting up every room with her radiant smile. Her unwavering positivity and zest for life, no matter the circumstance, inspired all who knew her.

A teacher by profession, and a teacher in spirit— Grandma Cora’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends who carry forward her values of love, faith, kindness and compassion. Her life reminds us that an affectionate smile and gentle word, when given freely, leaves an everlasting imprint on the world.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 30 at 2:00 PM MST at Hainstock’s Funeral Home (9810 34 Ave). Friends and loved ones are invited to gather together to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of our Grandma Cora.
