On June 15th, 2026, Colette Suzanne Cramer (nee Mareschal) passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at 81 years old. Colette was born on August 11th, 1944 in Cudworth, Saskatchewan to Robert and Marguerite Mareschal (nee Normand). On October 22nd, 1967, she married Roland Cramer and they had three sons – Marc, Michael, and Scott.
Colette and Roland lived around Canada and the world with their family in Germany, British Columbia, and Alberta. She proudly worked in the nursing profession throughout her entire adult life. Colette was a ferocious reader who always enjoyed relaxing with a book by her side, whether it was in the cozy confines of the home or by the lakes in the summer. She is survived by her sons Marc, Michael, and Scott; grandson Kristian, Michael’s partner Tracy, siblings Jocelyn, Leo, and Jerry, and many more family and friends.
A celebration of Colette’s life will be held at St. Charles’ Catholic Church, 17511 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 at 11:00am. Details on burial plans in Saskatchewan will follow when available.
