That face, those checks, the bushy lips, I can feel them still. I wish it wasn't just in my dreams. I want you back. To be doing the dishes and you come behind me and give me a hug. At about midnight every night you would come and give me a hug and kiss. The smell of fresh baked brownies, and cookies at 3am. The weird suppers you would make but tasted awesome. I miss everything about you. I love you.

Dear Cynthia and family.  I'm so sorry for your loss. I think of you often and am praying for you.

We have no words to console the family and friends for this loss, except for how sorry we are.  Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.  When someone becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.  Darrel will live the rest of our lives with us in our hearts and thoughts.  We will miss his warm smile, contagious laugh, kind heart and so many other gifts he brought to our lives.

My heart is so breaking that I scarce can take a breath.  I am sorry that Darrel is not here with us, but comforted by the fact that he is so happy, smiling down with his beautiful smile.  Sometimes God allows things to happen and we don't know why.  He has a reason, we just don't know what it is yet.
