On June 10, 2013 David passed away at the age of 23 years. He leaves to cherish his memory; father Anthony, mother Elizabeth Opoku, brother Daniel, twin sister Sarah, sister Samantha, grandparents Francis & Veronica Opoku, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends in Canada, the United States, and Ghana. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Parish 17653-112 St., Edmonton. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so, one hour prior to the Service at St. Charles Parish. David’s final resting place will be at Holy Cross Cemetery 14611 St. Albert Trail. At a later date a charity tournament will be held in David’s honour with all proceeds going to his Charity – Dunk on Disease- all information can be found on the website at www.dunkondisease.webs.com
