Dave left this world on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Dave will be remembered for being a great story teller and for his charming personality. Dave was well versed in ice cream (shoutout Palm Dairies), IT (Shoutout Dell Call Centre) and drinks at the bar (shoutout JT`s Bar & Grill and Drifters).
Dave is survived by his wife Val, sons Christopher (Rose), Zachary (Kate), daughter Madison (Julian) and grandchildren Joseph and Murphy, sisters Cathy and Angela, brother Andy (Judy). Predeceased by his parents William and Catherine Bernardi, sister Janet, brothers Bill and Tony, niece Amanda, nephew Michael, daughter in law Rachel and many close friends from the Ward and Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Cross Cancer Institute in honour of Dave. There will be a celebration of life at his favourite local hangout, JTs Bar and Grill, located at 1107 Knottwood Road E NW on Wednesday, August 19 at 4:30 pm.
