David Randy Gall

May 1, 1955 – September 27, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David (Dave) Randy Gall, who left us on September 27, 2025, at the age of 70.

Dave was born on May 1, 1955, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Melvin Bruce Gall and Shirley Margaret (Merkley) Gall. Over the years, he called many places home, including Edmonton, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Vancouver, British Columbia.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila Gall; son Terry Gall; daughter-in-law Susan Gall; grandchildren Bailey Gall and Breana Gall (with Ty Duncan); siblings Bruce Gall, Heather Goheen, Laurel Scurr, Norman Gall, and Cindy Gall; along with many extended family members and dear friends. Dave’s kindness, humor, and presence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dave had a passion for cars and could often be found at local car shows and weekday car nights, he especially enjoying time in a Tim Hortons parking lot with Sheila and their beloved dog, Harley. Dave always made time to be in the stands at his Grandkids sporting events both locally and on tournaments travelling to see them play Soccer, Hockey, Football and Inline. He also treasured weekends at the lake, fishing & sitting by the fire with his wife and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Stephen Hart.

He was predeceased by his parents, Shirley Margaret (Merkley) Gall and Melvin Bruce Gall. He is survived by Sheila, Terry, Susan, Breana, Bailey, Bruce, Laurel, Norm, Heather, and Cindy.

A service to celebrate Dave’s life will be held at Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium (9810 – 34 Avenue, Edmonton). On Monday October 6 with a viewing from 230-3pm and reception from 3-5pm.

The family deeply appreciates your love and support during this time. In accordance with Dave’s wishes, no flowers or donations are necessary. Your thoughts and memories are more than enough.
