David Thomas Maloney

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of David Thomas Maloney of Devon, AB; at the age of 61 years.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Sylvia; daughter Amanda (Joseph); sons, Travis and Christopher and three grandchildren he adored, Samantha, Joseph Jr., and Alison. He also leaves to mourn his mother Thelma, sisters Carol (Gus) Parker, Olive (Dwight) Sears, brothers Howard (Pat) and Patrick (Sylvia), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. David was predeceased by his father Andrew, brother Richard and niece Lisa Dalgleish.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 8 St. Clair Street, Devon AB; on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Peace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, it is David’s wish that donations be made to the MS Society of Canada, Alberta Chapter, #150-9405 – 50 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6B 2T4, or a charity of your choice.
