Dawne Lorella Maranchuk

Dawne was a Registered Nurse who was diagnosed in 2012 with a rare brain tumor. After surgery she was admitted to Hardisty Care Centre where she resided for over 12 years. She fought a long and feisty battle with the repercussions of the disease, but was determined to the end to show everyone that she was in charge. The family will be forever grateful for all the care, compassion and patience that everyone at Hardisty gave to Dawne over the years.

Dawne was predeceased by her mother, Ellen Maranchuk, and her brother, Randy Maranchuk.

Dawne will be lovingly remembered by her father, Edward Maranchuk, her siblings, Sharleen, Wanda Schmidt (Ron) and their children, James Schmidt (Christelle Pécher) and their daughter Emma, Ryan Schmidt (Aliesha) and their children, Cohen and Renly, Alanna Martens (Bryan Allen), her nephew Christopher Maranchuk (Jenny) and their children, Drake and Abby, her niece Shantel Maranchuk (and her son Denis), her nephew Doug Maranchuk (Chelsea), and her nephew Mark Maranchuk, along with her many relatives and friends.

The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date in her memory.
