Joe informed me of Doris' passing,  fortunately he and Jeannine were able to represent the Laplante Family at the memorial.   Doris'  legacy will be lived through her family which she was so proud of!

I am very honored to have known Doris while working at Laurier House. She was a very special, loving lady. I enjoyed visiting with her and listening to her stories about her husband and her family. She will be greatly missed. My thougths and prayers are with her family.

Doris's family:
It is with great sadness that I acknowledge the passing of my dear friend Doris. I had the privilege of being her companion since February. We had many good weekly outings, where she would often talk of her family, who she missed terribly. Doris especially recalls a Mother's Day outing to the Hotel McDonal with Rick - she felt like a Queen.
I was so blessed to sit with Doris for several hours, just before her passing.  Doris was a very dear and special lady. I will miss her immensely, as will many others in the home.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I am so sorry that I will be out of town for the Memorial.
