Dorothy was born in Portsmouth, and lived the first part of her life in Birmingham, England. She came to Canada in 1962, where she met and married her husband Sam.
She leaves to mourn her daughter, Stephanie and son-in-law Paul Morton, two nieces Marilyn Buchan (Sandy) and Pamela Kurstjens (Gerritt) and three nephews Graham Roberts (Jill), Stuart Adamic, and Tony Witkowski (Rachel). Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Sam, two brothers George and Richard, and two sisters Eileen and Anne, as well as many friends and relatives.
Her family would like to thank all the staff at St. Michael’s Long Term Care Centre, 2nd Floor, for the kind and compassionate care in Dorothy’s last weeks.
Dorothy's Viewing & Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407 60 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6M 1X7, CA, on August 4, 2026; Viewing 10:15 am to 10:55 am, Mass 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, follow by Reception 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm.
Dorothy's Graveside Service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 4814 Meridian St NW, Edmonton, AB, T6P 1R3, CA, on August 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
