Dorothy and her husband, Maurice, immigrated from Northern Ireland in 1975, where they spent the next 49 years together.
Despite living with Cerebral Palsy and the mobility challenges it brought, Dorothy never allowed it to define her. She worked as an administrator in a medical clinic before dedicating herself to raising her family. Dorothy and Maurice welcomed their first son, Peter, in 1981, followed by their second son, Christopher, in 1990. As a devoted mother and homemaker, she created a loving home where family always came first.
Dorothy maintained her distinctive Irish accent and warm demeanor that endeared her to everyone she met. Her friendly nature and genuine concern for others left a lasting impression on family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew her.
Dorothy will be remembered for her strength, resilience, tenacity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Maurice, in March 2023, and is survived by her loving sons, Peter and Christopher, and their families. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
