Dorothy passed away just two days after her 102nd birthday. She will be lovingly remembered by her, son, Bruce (Cindy) McPherson; her daughter, Marlene (Bill) Black; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three half siblings, Joyce Verna and Lorne, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom have wonderful memories of her generous spirit and spritely sense of humour. She was predeceased by her son, Dwight McPherson; three husbands, Walter McPherson, Andy Shields and Geoff Ross; and sister, Nina Miner. For the past twelve years she has resided at Rosedale Estates in Edmonton and the family would like to thank the staff of Rosedale for their kindness and respectful care.
Dorothy will be buried in Kelowna beside he beloved Walter, husband for thirty six years, and a private memorial service will take place at a later date.
