Earl Douglas Brooks

Earl was the eldest son of Allan and Viola Brooks. He was an energetic, adventurous kid who enjoyed cars, working with his hands, reading and spending time with friends. He had a natural curiosity for how things worked and became proficient at repairing his vehicles and any household items that needed it. He preferred to figure it out himself rather than paying someone to do it for him. He earned his journeyman tickets as a sprinkler systems installer and as an electrician. He was quick to lend a hand if someone had a need and he loved spending time with friends riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, racing remote control vehicles and just hanging out.

Earl is survived by his mother, Viola Brooks, brother Glenn (Julie) Brooks, nephew Timothy Brooks and niece Kristina Brooks. He was predeceased by his father Allan Brooks.

A memorial will be held on September 26, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Southgate Alliance Church (3916 107 St, Edmonton). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
