On Thursday August 25th at 7:05 p.m., our beloved mother, and kohkom Edna Mary Sinclair (nee Pierce) peacefully passed away in the presence of her caregivers and while holding her daughter’s hand. We are all heartbroken but grateful for the years we had with her, as are many friends and extended family whose lives she also touched. Her indomitable spirit and joy of life sustained her for 96 years and her zest for life was an inspiration to many. We loved her. She cared for us throughout our lives and as we were taught, we cared for her in her final years. Mourning her loss are her 5 surviving children Gordon (Valerie) Sinclair, Linda (Fred) Anderson, Jeannette (Ken) Sinclair, Rodney (Colleen) Sinclair, Rocky (Jane) Sinclair and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister and last remaining sibling Justine Stenset. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who she treated like her own kids. She was predeceased by her husband Sam, daughter Lorraine, son Kevin and 2 baby boys as well as her brothers George, Jim, Donald, Victor Pierce, and sister Lily Swanson.
May the circle never be broken, and we’ll see you on the other side of that jamming circle someday mom!
The family would sincerely like to thank the staff at Shepherd’s Care Kensington for the caregiving and comfort they brought to our mother over the past year.
