Emily Josephine Korz

Emily was born on March 18, 1938, in the hamlet of Mapova, Alberta and moved with her parents and sister to Abee, Alberta. while still very young.

As a young girl she was a member of the Cadets and Four-H.

She began her long teaching career at Radway, Alberta and then to the School for the Deaf in Edmonton, Alberta and eventually to settle in the Edmonton public school system at the Elementary level until she retired.

Emily is lovingly remembered by her two sons Stewart and Timothy and her sister Lillian along with many cousins, nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Emily was predeceased by her parents Anne and George and her loving husband Myron.

A funeral will be held on Friday November 10,2023 at 11:00am, at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB. With Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.
