It is with heartfelt sorrow that we say goodbye to Gene, husband of Marlene for 56 years, father of Melanie (Cian), Chad (Jennifer), Elena (Scott) from Squamish BC, and Nathan (Jenn) from The Woodlands, Texas, and grandfather of Emmeline, Josie, Owen, Elsa, Danika, Blake, Mia, Ella, Ava, Edie and Henry.
Gene was predeceased by his parents Steve and Helen and parents-in-law, John and Eva Stefanyk, and sister Jean Berreth. He is survived by his brothers, Bob, Jim and Ray.
We are grateful to the wonderful staff of 5A6 at the Mazankowski Heart Institute for their care and support. A private graveside service will be held.
