

Evelyn Anaise Miller, 89, of Edmonton, AB, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 at her care facility in Edmonton. She was born on April 2, 1936 in Vonda, SK.
Evelyn was the beloved wife of Vernon Miller for 60 years and mother to 5 children.
She is survived by her husband Vernon, as well as all 5 of her children: Michael Allen (Margaret), Bridget Ann (Emile), Mark Roger (Jenny), Shawna Lee (Sheldon), and Ross Vernon (Michelle); her grandchildren: Emily (Rene), Hannah (Ivan), Gordon (Naomi), Jessica (Brent), Rogelle (Joel), Lane, Luke (Carina), Julia (Gary), and Avery; her great grandchildren: Rhett, Emelia, Dakota, Marissa, and Dana. She is also survived by her older brother, Raymond Agarand.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Laura Agarand, her older sister, Lillian, and by her first husband, Roger Duperreault in 1962.
Evelyn was an avid Oilers fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play all their favourite sports. But, what she was most passionate about was curling. She was a great fan of the game and was also a competitive curler for many years out of the Crestwood Curling Club in Edmonton. She also shared a loved of the outdoors and travelled throughout North America, from Mexico straight up to Alaska, and from the west coast of Canada, fishing for salmon and halibut, to the east coast of Canada, fishing for cod - a full and adventurous life.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Evelyn on April 12, 20025 at 2:00pm at Lauderdale Community Hall located at 12937 107 Street NW in Edmonton, Alberta.
