Dear June, very sorry to hear about the passing of Fred.  We were neighbors with you and Fred on Laydon Drive for a couple of years, and it was always such a treat to chat with Fred over the fence.  He was such a kind, friendly, and positive person.  Very sorry for your loss.

June and Family, so sorry to hear about Fred.  We haven't seen you at all since we parted ways in the Edmonton Regional Office, but oh, the fabulous memories.  Fred was a delight to work with and even more fun to joke around with.  Many sympathies to you all.  Found an old photo of Fred with Art Peddicord.  May they both rest in peace.  Perhaps they are now both playing crib and making wagers together again!

I really enjoyed Fred's company at the +55 Club in St. Albert. He was most helpful and a wonderful bridge partner. I was so saddened and shocked to hear of his sudden passing . Sincerest condolences.

My deepest condolences to the Schreiber family on their loss. I am a member of the Over 55 Club where we played Bridge and knew Fred as a gracious man with a quick wit and an obvious love of his family, including his dogs. Fred will be dearly missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Fred's tragic accident and his passing. Jackie gave us the news in Mexico. He was above all a loving husband, father and brother. We have many great memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

I am so sorry for loss. Dr. Schreiber taught me Grade 5 at Gold Bar Elementary in1958.  He was my first male teacher and I had a huge crush on him. I recall clearly that he always made every subject interesting and I always felt he cared about his students.

Fred was a great neighbour. I always knew what to do by following his lead. I will miss him popping over and sharing his stories. My favourite was he and Tom firing a 22 in my basement. We will really miss Fred. Our condolences to June and the rest of Fred's family.

Please accept my condolences, June, don the passing of Fred. I remember with respect our association in Alberta Education and his leadership in education in Alberta. We were privileged to be part of the halcyon days in Alberta Education.

I am so sorry to read that Fred is gone. Fred was a valued  member of Alberta Education and served Alberta youth all his life. Fred was a good friend. He and I played crib at lunch. I was always his partner (Fred liked to have a little wager and I did not so he lost double or won double. Fred came out on top as we were a great team).I, and many others, have lost a great friend and professional associate. We will all miss Fred. My condolence to June, Gaylene and the rest of the Schreiber family.
