He will be remembered as a hard-working, loyal and resilient man who was dedicated to his family. Whether through his art, gardening, or gazing out of his picture window, nature was where he found peace.
Fred will be forever loved and missed by his devoted wife and best friend of 56 years, Victoria; daughters Tobi-Joy, Tammy (Bernie) and Stephanie (Thomas) and grandchildren Ayrton, Mia, Trent, Theodore and Lily; extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Eliza and Arcene Thero, and sisters Terry and Rose.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St Albert Trail NW, at Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation in memory of Fred Oliver Thero.
