

Reg was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and lived in Calgary and Edmonton during his working years with Coneco Equipment before retiring to Vancouver Island in 1991. His hard work ethic came from his early years on the farm. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hosting friends and family. On Vancouver Island he was actively involved in the Crofton Senior's Center, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Eagles on Wheels and built his beloved home with his partner Trudy.
Reg was predeceased by his second wife, Isabel, his sister Joan, and granddaughter Joanna, and leaves behind to mourn his passing his first wife Billie, along with brothers Bill (Sheila) Taylor and Derwyn (Gail) Taylor. Also grieving are his children Tucker (Janet), Belinda (Kingsley), Joanne (Al), Brent (Julie), grandchildren Elizabeth, Ashlee, Joseph, Olivia, Julia, Sophia, Carley, Marcus, Nicole, Deen, Douglas, and Marshall, and all Reg's nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honour Reg's life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton AB.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Reg's memory may be made directly to the charities he supported throughout his life, Ducks Unlimited or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
