Dear Uncle Ken and Family
I think of Auntie Gail very often.  I was young when she became a part of our family probably 10 and it wasn't until the last 5 years did I get to know what a wonderful women she was and still is.  I feel cheated as I wanted to get to know her more but uncle Ken I a a very grateful for the time we have shared and I am so grateful and honered to say she was my aunt.  I wished though I got to spend more time with her but I know that through this I got to know the person you are are and I am honoured to be your niece and I think auntie Gail had a part. Gail was a fun, warm & easy going person.  She was a pleasure to work with and she brought a lot of love, laughter & sunshine into our lives at IKEA. Ken and Family,
There are people that come into your world that enrich and change your life and for me that was Gail. She was a special friend and co-worker, her quick wit,sincerity, honesty and wonderful sense of humor brought so much into my life. I will always  cherish the times that we have spent together laughing, telling stories, exchanging ideas and listening to each other. She had always had a knack for helping me see things in a different light and would never be able to thank her enough for everything she brought to my life. I loved working with her and we always laughed far too much during the day. A wonderful lady that I am proud to have known for a short time. I am sad to hear of the news but like Rosie said; you all have a very special angel watching over you now.

We will always cherish our memories of our fun times we had in Palm Springs. We had such beautiful conversations by the pool. So happy and glad Gail stayed in touch with us. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved, Gail. 

Gail and I both worked at IKEA Edmonton, and would share lots of laughs together, whenever we had the chance to have lunch or supper together in the co-worker lunchroom.  I also remember many, many times Ken, when Gail was working the evening shift, (I think it was on Thursday nights), and you would come to IKEA and have supper with Gail.  I always thought how very sweet that was of you, and the memory that I have of seeing the two of you together, happily having your dinner, is a precious memory that I will carry with me, always.

Keep the wonderful memories that you have of her alive, as nobody can ever take those away from you.  Speak her name often.  Her spirit does live on.

Hear her with your heart.  Feel her with your soul.

As my beloved Grandpa King used to say, "Good-bye is too final, so let's just say so-long."  So-long my friend.  Thanks for all the laughs and all of the wonderful memories!! :):)
