Georgie passed away on September 9, 2026 at the age of 91 years. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Joan Kerns, Kathy (Bob) Martel and Robin (Wayne) Depner, as well as her brother-in-law Lyle Ford and sister-in-law Patty Kerns. She will also be missed by her nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Bob Alexander, siblings Jackie Ford and Gene Kerns.
We would like to express our many thanks to the staff at Shepherd’s Care Kensington Village for their exceptional care and kindness. Georgie had been on the dementia ward for the past 3 years.
A celebration of Georgie’s life will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 10029 99 Avenue Fort Saskatchewan, AB. on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
If desired, memorial donations in Georgie’s memory may be made directly to any animal shelter, food bank or the Gibbons Emmanuel Anglican Church.
