It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Gerald Loyal Benson (Gerry) mourn his passing on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the age of 78.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Rosemary; his daughter, Julene (James) Cissell; his son, Jordan (Rachel) Benson; grandchildren, Austin, Jade, Ethan, Rowan, Kenzie, Noah, and Mason; and his sister, Margaret Wheele.
He is predeceased by his father Julian Benson, mother Margaret Hewins, stepfather William Hewins, and sister Joan Turner.
Gerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert trail at 2:00 pm April 19, 2025. Gerry's service will be livestreamed. To join, please click on the link below under the "Scheduled Services" section at the time of service.
