My husband and I just wanted to say we were so sorry to hear that Germaine had passed. You do not know us but my daughter was next to him in the 4D unit at the Stolllery for a brief time. We got to share a little bit of time with your sweet boy and he touched our hearts. Germaine: I feel very privileged to have ever known you, though briefly. We never had a conversation, yet I could sense your contented, happy self and witness your sweet smile. In that and in the strength of your spirit you did and will continue to inspire! I am happy for the special opportunity to get to know your Mom. Your Mom did her best. She was a devoted, loving and strong Mom. She encouraged and encourages others by her example to do their best, cherish time with their children and to take courage even when days are not easy and news isn't good. I did not meet your Father, but I am confident you felt his fatherly love and enjoyed time with him. I am sure that your little sister will some day be told of your special ways and special place you had in your family.
