He was born in Portland, Jamaica. Godfrey is survived by his mother, Ms Delores Brown, wife: Kathleen Bingham
Children: Omari, Renee, Ziana, and Zelia. Grandchildren: Tamia, O’Neil, Tywayne, Jamar
He is also survived by sisters and brothers namely: Karlene, Upton, Brenton, Shirley, Dave, Rohan, Michelle. Nieces, Nephews, extended family members and a host of good friends.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to to the medical staff and caregivers, who showed unwavering dedication in caring for Godfrey during his illness.
Godfrey was well known as a compassionate and generous person. He loved the simple things in life, spending time with his family.
He will be greatly missed by many but his legacy will continue to grow.
A visitation and funeral service for Godfrey will be held on June 27, 2024 at 10AM and 11AM respectively, at Millwoods All Nation Seventh Day Adventist Church. 3715 85 Street NW. Following the visitation and funeral service, the burial will be held at South Haven Cemetery, 5004 Meridian St NW, Edmonton, AB T6P 1R3. Reception to follow at Millwoods All Nations Church.
