Gordon Stocks

January 25, 1928 – August 27, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Stocks on August 27, 2011 at the age of 83 years.

Gordon will forever be remembered by his loving children, Paul (Debbie) Stocks, Denise (Archie) Doonanco and Diane (Doug) Atkinson. He will also be missed by his pride and joy, his five grandchildren: Chris (Marie) Stocks, Darren Stocks, LisaMarie (Aaron) Thompson, Sean and Eric Atkinson, his three great grandchildren, Mya, Thai and Hannah, brother Reginald (Ria) Stocks, brothers in law, Donald (Doreen) Kayley and Ernie (Sylvia) Kayley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Gordon was predeceased by his grandson Lee Atkinson and most recently, his loving wife of 61 years Sylvia Stocks.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating Gordon’s Life at Memories Funeral Home, 13403-St. Albert Trail, on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, 1502-College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, AB; T6G-2C8.
