Hari was predeceased by his loved and admired father, Lalchand B. Ramchandani, his loved and devoted mother, Sati Ramchandani, and his loved and cherished elder brother Shyam Ramchandani.
Hari had a vibrant upbringing in New Delhi before immigrating to Canada in 1970, where he worked tirelessly to build a life filled with connection, warmth, and community. Over the years, he formed deep and lasting friendships and became a cherished presence to so many.
He loved spending time with friends, playing cricket, and devoted many years of his professional life to working as a civil engineer. Throughout his life, he maintained a steady and constant connection with his parents and brothers, holding family at the very center of who he was.
Hari loved his people deeply and took genuine joy in keeping up with every detail of their lives.
In the last 18 months, Hari’s health began to falter, beginning with a heart attack in September 2024, followed by several major complications. He fought with incredible strength and determination, and on Thursday morning, he gently let go of this beautiful life.
May his journey beyond be vibrant, beautiful and serene.
