Heather was a creative spirit, a natural fixer, and a light to everyone she met. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she carried a lifelong love of music, art, crafting, and connecting with others. She was proud of earning her Bachelor’s degree as a mature student and loved her work as an Academic Advisor at MacEwan University, but her greatest joy was always her family.
Heather shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Dave, and cherished her roles as mom to Jessica and Emily, and Nana to Tanner and Hartley. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, mending broken hearts, advocating fiercely for those she loved, and finding joy in creating things by hand. Her warmth, humour, and unconditional love touched countless lives.
On October 21, 2026, Heather passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family, with photographs of her friends and family covering the bedroom walls, just as she had wanted.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by Dave, Jessica, Emily, Nate, Tanner, Hartley, and the many friends and family members whose lives she enriched.
