
At the age of 19, Isobel along with her parents, relocated to Canada to join her beloved older brother John in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Isobel met and married Jacob Walbauer shortly after arriving in Medicine Hat and had four boys; Bryan, Alan, Stewart and Timothy.
Isobel eventually relocated to Sherwood Park from Calgary and worked at the Bank of Montreal for her entire career.
Isobel loved playing golf and enjoyed volunteering her time to do charity work for the Salvation army, she had a flair for fashion and a love for animals; her exuberance for life & quick wit touched the hearts of the many friends and family that she encountered in her lifetime.
Isobel met Don Carter, later in life, with whom she spent many fun-filled and adventurous years travelling together.
In her latter years, she often reminisced about childhood memories in Crail, Scotland; these fond memories included playing,running on the beach & swimming in the North Sea with her best & life long friend Freda.
Isobel leaves behind and will be dearly missed by her two sons, Stewart (Deb) and Timothy (Dena) and daughter in-law Brenda (Alan), grandchildren; Glenna (Jon), Colin (Brittany), Natalie and Maddox. Isobel also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Huxley, Shae and Hunter.
Isobel joins her parents, John and Isabella Duffy, brother, John and beloved sons, Bryan and Alan Walbauer.
