Jack is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor; sons Neil (Lisa) in Australia, Doug (Amanda), and Rod (Dina) in Edmonton, and daughter Janelle (Steve Beverly) in Mayerthorpe; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Geraldine (Stan) and family.
Jack had a long and successful career as a Chartered Accountant with Clarkson Gordon and Ernst & Young, and was involved with many boards throughout the years including the Caritas Hospitals Foundation and the Alberta Pension Administration. He served as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and President of the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club.
As an avid golfer, Jack was a long-time member of the Royal Mayfair Golf Club. When he wasn’t golfing he spent his time at the family cabin at Pigeon Lake, travelling around the world with Eleanor, and attending and supporting all of the important events and milestones in his children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s lives.
Due to Covid restrictions a private service will be held.
