On September 24, 2014, Mrs. Janet Mae Kljajic (nee Rowden) passed away at the age of 70 years. She was in the loving care of her former coworkers, on Station 43, the tertiary palliative care unit at the Grey Nuns Hospital, where she had worked as a RN for over 20 years. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Mato; son Ivan of Newcastle, Australia, and daughter Tonia and son-in-law Nilo and two grandchildren Magdalena and Mato of Santa Ana, California; two brothers and two sisters; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents George and Vivian Rowden of Sturgeon Valley, Saskatchewan, siblings Ellen McRae, Vernon Rowden, and Lois Giroux, her niece Linda Rowden and nephew David Rowden.
A Memorial service to Celebrate Janet’s life will be held at St. Clare Roman Catholic Church, 6310-118 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday October 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm, with Reverend Robert Kasun officiating.
