Still miss you, Jason, and I always will. It felt a little too hard to say anything yesterday, and I wasn't sure what to say then or even now, except that I miss your humour and kindness so much. I hope there's a Great Beyond, where you're laughing with love at all of us down here.

I worked nights with Jason at Co-op and he was the most genuine, hilarious human being I’ve ever had the chance of meeting. 
He never ever failed to make me laugh, and when I got promoted to working dispatch with him, HE made the job.

Dear Margaret & Tony, thank you for sharing your son Jason. Never worried about what people might say, Jason danced for the joy of dancing, he wiggled, giggled and made us laugh out loud.  More than that, he was a kind and caring soul, an encouraging 
and loyal Zumba supporter.  He often noticed when I wasn’t quite up to par, remembered birthdays, Mother’s Day, shared his battle with weight gain and his triumphs (“look I’m wearing shorts!”), he was an inspiration. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that through  Jason you made the world a better place, be proud. Julie, aka Zumba-Mama, aka Kiwi xo 😘 

Jane and I always looked forward to our frequent  chats with Jason at the YMCA. Anyone who chatted with him could always look forward to a big smile, a funny joke (or 2) and maybe even a movie review. We pass on our deepest condolences to Tony and Margaret. Jason was a very special young man who will be dearly missed. 

I met you (coop) over twenty years ago and you became an instant friend to me. You have been such an amazing and special person in my kids lives. I’m sorry we have gone so long without seeing each other. Here you are at my daughter Arianna’s 5th birthday; can you believe she is 18 now?
You will be missed dearly, but I know between you and my dad heaven is in for some good times. 

St. Patrick's Day was never dull with Jason. One year, it fell on a Monday, his usual volunteer day at the YMCA. He loved speaking with an Irish accent, and I challenged him to do so for the duration of his 2 hour shift. He happily accepted the challenge and amazed every person that walked in. He was so convincing that one member asked him which part of Ireland he was from!
From the "whoop, whoop" noises in Zumba classes, to the plethora of jokes and voices, to the messages of love and support. Jason was a beautiful soul. I am so very grateful to have known him and had the privilege to receive his immeasurable kindness and humor.
Sending all of my love to his parents, and the many people who's lives are duller without him.

Jason was such a larger than life person. He was always there with a smile, always there to support you. He didn’t shrink away from jumping into life with both feet. 
My fondest memories are the cadet dances and dancing with him and the gang to Billy Idol at each dance. 
When I ran into him at Red’s years later, it was as if time stood still for him. He still had that big smile, still had that caring heart. 
Then a few years ago, we were chatting again on Messenger, and again, he was the same Coop.  
He was a blessing to this world whether it was with his smiles, his hugs, his memes, his great and enthusiastic drumming, or his chasing after a certain taxi. 
Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, Jason Coop. 

Jason was my nephew who I loved very very much. He always made me feel happy and had the corniest jokes!

Jason, my wife Jessica and I worked together at Red’s. Talented cook. There are so many fantastic memories. From going to mac’ds at 3 in the morning and ordering 50 cheeseburgers to watching movies and laughing our faces off to the gatherings at the Coop’s house to watch wrestling and play video games with the boys. He was always a great friend who made me laugh and had a unique way of looking at the world.  Thank you for always being there, my friend. You have been and will be missed. 

Jason was my coworker at Co-Op Taxi since December 2014, and we were fast friends after that. I always enjoyed working with him in Dispatch, listening to his ribald jokes and being regaled by many stories from his life. A shift at work was never, ever boring when he was around! I was also ever in awe of how calm, collected and jovial he could be, now matter how busy or crazy the job became. No wonder the drivers all loved him as a buddy!

I will also always treasure the nuggets of wisdom and the many encouragements he imparted to me over the years. He may not have been great with technology (which he readily admitted to), but he was an expert at human relations and the human condition.

I will miss his laughter, his unique sense of humour and, most of all, his presence. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

My cousin Jason was a hilarious kind soul.  I didn’t get to grow up with him but later in life we got to connect.  I loved all the voice over messages he would send me and the light funny conversations we would have.    The last time I got to see Jason was 6yrs ago and had a very entertaining time.  I got to do Zumba with him and water aerobics.  He will be missed but never forgotten. Love you cuz 😘 xo

I worked with Jason at Co-op for a couple of years and always looked forward to our shifts together. He taught me how to dispatch. His faith in me never waivered and he was always there for me, no matter what the issue. He was such a great friend, no, a great brother to me. I miss his infectious laughter and smile, which can be seen below in his Halloween minion costume. He never failed to brighten my day, no matter how he was feeling. My deepest condolences to his parents. May he rest in paradise.

Jason was one of the most positive people I had the pleasure of knowing. He was funny and caring. He genuinely cared about the people he worked with. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Jason at Co-op taxi working nights together for about 4 year. He was such a character.  He had a great personality. He would make you laugh, make fun of you (all in good fun)    He made the shift go by fast .  He will be missed greatly.  RIP my friend, until we meet again…

Jason was a true friend and a brother. He was the greatest guy to work with ever. I have many fond memories of spending time at the movies with him. And his folks would always invite me to their Christmas dinners. I was with Co-op Taxi for over 10 years and he was with me the whole time. Providing jokes and support. I’ll miss him terribly.

Awe, my dear Jason.  You were a light during my cancer treatments. Every morning when I came in for my 6am shift you were like "hey baldy, stay sexy." The earth lost a kind, compassionate,  and very funny human being. Now, the Angels get you. Please keep the jokes decent ❤

Jay took me under his wing when I first started at Co-Op and taught me a lot about how to do the job, but most importantly how to deal with people, which is an area in which he excelled. Some jokes were ribald, some were legitimately laugh-out-loud funny. But there were always jokes.

My sincerest condolences to his family.

Jason was my Partner in crime our last two years of cadets.  His joyful laugh was infectious.  He could always turn a serious situation in to a giggle fest.  Will miss you light and sense of humour.  Rest In Peace my friend. 

I knew Jason from cadets and he was always the life of every event we had. A warm, kind and caring person who always made everyone laugh. So many great memories!!!

A friend to many including myself through most of my childhood years. I hold many memories of all the fantastic times spent with Jason. You will be dearly missed my friend. RIP Jason.

Jason will be missed by all that he met. I remember Jason from when I was 7 and he was on the base drum and the wind took him and he did a full circle marching down the hill at battle of Atlantic. All his cadet family have been sharing memories since we found out the news. We will miss you boom boom coop 

Jason was always a ray of sunshine.  His giggle would make you laugh even if you didn't think you could.  He was so kind and caring.  My life was better from knowing him.  From him I learnt how a positive attitude is contagious.  RIP Jason.

Jason was an amazing person. Extremely funny, always lit up the room, and had a heart of gold. I'll cherish the times we spent together. My sincerest condolences to his parents.
