Only The Good Die Young – They even wrote a song about it. , and it would definitely pertain to Jason. He was known for his generosity, pleasant personality with a sense of humor & calmness shown by his common sense.
He was a good son, brother, friend, husband & father. He paid the ultimate price for the sake of his first Love, his family. He did what a good father would do, & that is protect & love his family. He didn’t want to go now, he had lots left to do, but it wasn’t his choice. God made the choice for him. He left a big hole in our hearts.
To carry forward Jason’s work and philosophy on earth, I would suggest we all do our very best at what we do. No more sitting on the couch in a safe place but use your life for the good of others, as Jason did. Be the best person you can be for his sake to carry on his life’s work. His life that was ended way too young for someone the world needed desperately to make it a better place.
For Kim, Zach, Zoe and Victoria be the best person you can be to carry on for your husband and father. I believe in the Communion of Saints in heaven, and if there ever was a time we needed them is now. Jason is a part of the Communion of Saints and if you need strength & courage to carry on , pray to him, & just like when he was on earth, he’ll be there for you! Make him proud!
A thoughtful mother
