Jesus was born on June 27, 1930 in Paco, Manila, Philippines. He is the eldest son of nine children to the late Felix and Jovita Santos.
He is survived by his only son, Lazaro (Maria Oliveth); granddaughter, Leana; siblings, Annie
(the late, Armando) Cruz, Wency Santos, Sonia (the late, Joe) Obniala, Carmelito (Juliet) Santos,
Efren Toto (Ofelia) Santos, and Thelma (Leogard) de Leon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jesus enrolled at the University of the East for post-secondary. He was an active member of the Catholic catechism in Manila. He worked at Pioneer Tobacco, Good Year Tire and Delta Motor Corporation before immigrating to Canada in August 1975. He worked as a tradesman before retiring in the early 1990. He loved to read books especially his bible and spending time with his family. He was a loving, caring, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jesus is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Demetria; siblings, Efren Santos, Oret Santos and Josefina Esperanza.
