

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, John Alexander Gil Betancourt. John passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2025, due to a tragic car accident while working, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him.
John was an exceptional person, a dedicated worker, and a man whose warmth radiated in every aspect of his life. No matter what he was doing, he always had a smile on his face, spreading joy and brightening the lives of those around him.
His remaining loved ones include his partner, Teresa, and his daughters, Amy and Luna, as well as his beloved mother, who travelled from Colombia to see her son one last time. John has now reunited in heaven with his daughter, Valentina, who passed away at the age of 9 after a courageous battle with cancer. Together, they now shine as stars, guiding and protecting their family from above.
John was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and dedicated his life passionately to his work, earning the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege of working with him. Despite his professional dedication, his greatest pride was always his family, whom he loved unconditionally.
The family would like to extend special thanks to his close friends, colleagues, and everyone who has offered their support during this difficult time.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home; a celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Memories Funeral Home with a visitation at 10:00 AM and service at 12:00 PM to honour and remember his memory.

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido esposo, padre, hermano y amigo, John Alexander Gil Betancourt . John partió inesperadamente en Enero 07,2025 a causa de un trágico accidente automovilístico mientras trabajaba, dejando un vacío irreparable en el corazón de todos los que lo conocieron.
John era una persona excepcional, un trabajador dedicado y un hombre cuya calidez irradiaba en cada aspecto de su vida. Sin importar lo que estuviera haciendo, siempre tenía una sonrisa en el rostro, contagiando alegría y iluminando la vida de quienes lo rodeaban.
Su legado vive a través de su pareja Teresa,sus hijas Amy y Luna y su hermosa mama que se a venido de Colombia para poder ver a su hijo por ultima vez . John se ha reunido en el cielo con su hija Valentina, quien falleció a los 9 años tras una valiente batalla contra el cáncer. Ahora, juntos, brillan como estrellas, guiando y protegiendo a su familia desde arriba.
John nació en Colombia,Bogota y dedicó su vida con pasión a su trabajo, ganándose el respeto y el cariño de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de trabajar con él. A pesar de su dedicación profesional, su mayor orgullo siempre fue su familia, a quienes amaba incondicionalmente.
La familia desea expresar un especial agradecimiento a sus amigos cercanos, colegas y a todos los que han brindado su apoyo en este momento tan difícil.
Un velación se llevara acabo el Miercoles/22/2025 y Una celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo el Juevez/23/2025, con un servicio a las 12:00pm seguido de una recepción para recordar y honrar su memoria.
